It must have been Christmas time when I was very young, because thatrsquo;s the ... I donrsquo;t remember the last time I was this excited. It must have been Christmas time when I was very young, because thatrsquo;s the feeling I had when I was waiting for the UPS man, in the rain, to deliver the devices that made it possible to record this. Seriously folks, I am stoked. Irsquo;ve done a few test runs and the sound can be captured clear and well. Tomorrow night Irsquo;m recording a speaking event that Irsquo;ll be taking part in. I plan to podcast the entire thing here at RomanSturgis.com. Soon yoursquo;ll see my stories up here as well as radio blogs and interviews I conduct along my travels. Today I was published in the Weekly Digmdash;my first real print journalism publication. I am learning as fast as I can how to make radio packages so that I can also provide NPR and BBC style stories. Why? Is it just to hear the sound of my own voice? Yes. Part of it is that. But another part of it is this feeling I have, this excitement for all the new possibilities this incredible technology of sound can offer. I hope to transfer that feeling to you.
